Black beans.



Black beans are rich with vitamins and minerals, that are useful for heart, brains and stomach functions.  Black beans is best solution for weight control, hair strengthening, improving overall appearance and condition. Black beans contain vitamins A and E, that stimulates hair growth , makes  skin shine  and support eyesight.


In addition to this, black beans full of pectin and cellulose good for stomach defogging from salt and heavy metals.  However wrong way of cooking black beans will lead for intoxication due to toxic substances, that detox only after heat treatment.  

That's why it is important to know the right way of cooking black beans, and we will provide couple recipes here.


Black bean porridge.


Ingredients (2 portions )


black beans- half cup

swelled rise -2/3 cup

water -5 cups

salt for taste


Instructions:

1)       Wash beans well in a bowl, cover beans fully with water and leave for 6-7 hours to swell.

2)       Put beans into pot and add 1 cup of water. Boil for 10 minutes and mix all in blender.

3)       Put mixed beans into pot again, add swelled rise and 4 cups of water. Put on strong fire till it starts to boil.

4)      Lower the fire and stir with rice paddle for 10-12 min to prevent burning.

5)      Add salt before serving.



Enriched black bean rice.


Ingredients (2 portions):

1/2 cup-black beans-  

30 grams -carrot

3 shiitake mushrooms

30 grams - lotus root

12 Ginkgo tree seeds

1/2 cup of rice

sesame and sesame leaves


Decoction soup:

2 table spoons of soy souse

1 table spoon of brown sugar

2 cups of water


Instructions:

1)       Wash beans well in a bowl, cover beans fully with water and leave for 6-7 hours to swell.

2)       Remove peel from carrot and lotus root. Cut carrot, lotus root and shiitake mushrooms into pieces of bean size.

4)       Add all ingredients into decoctition soup (soy souse, sugar and water) and put on fire.

5)       Keep on fire until 1/3 of the water will evaporate.

6)       Remove all the ingredients and leave the soup in the pot. Add rice and put on fire.

7)       When it water starts to boil cover rice with ingredients, put the lead and lower the fire until rice will be cooked.

8)       Add sesame seed and chop sesame leaves before serving.
